From +30,000% on demo
to a live account.
The demo report shows good directional calls but uncontrolled risk (46.96% drawdown, 90-lot trades). This plan turns that result into a system that can be verified and repeated.
Numbers that are not negotiable.
They apply to every phase and every account, demo included. Break one rule = stop trading for the day.
Audit the report & write the system
Analyse the 668 phase-1 scalping trades on their own: which hours win, which symbols lose (EURUSD is at −$20), which trades broke the stop.
- Write entry / exit rules on a single A4 page
- Drop EURUSD or rework the setup (41/96 winners)
- No stock CFDs until they have their own rules
Disciplined demo — rerun with $1,000
Open a new demo account with the same starting capital. The goal is not big profit but proving drawdown is under control.
- At least 100 trades at a fixed 1% risk
- Journal 100% of trades (reason, chart screenshot, emotion)
- Export the MT5 report weekly and publish it on the Blog
Small live / cent account
Start only after hitting every P1 metric. Small real capital ($200–$500 or a cent account) to get used to slippage, wider spreads and psychological pressure.
- Cut risk to 0.5% per trade for the first 30 days
- Connect Myfxbook / FXBlue for verified figures
- Compare live vs demo: a gap > 30% ⇒ back to P1
Scale up, conditionally
Only increase size after each +10% equity milestone and when current drawdown is under 5%. The system can then be packaged as an EA or a course built on real data.
- Increase size by at most 25% each step
- Drawdown hits 10% ⇒ back to starting size
- Publish a monthly report on the Results page
Turning data into trust.
Suggested development of ktgtrade.com over the next 3 months, by priority.
Verified track record
Embed the live account's Myfxbook/FXBlue widget. Refresh the Results page monthly from the new MT5 report (the data pipeline already exists).
