A game of "giants", and how we survive in the market
After a long period of research, I built an Expert Advisor (EA) myself and tested it across many currency pairs and timeframes. The core of the system is its ability to shape-shift with market structure, which makes it more resilient to Alpha Decay, the erosion of a trading edge over time.
Having worked at financial companies belonging to Japanese and Korean groups, I learned one truth: out there, large-scale trading systems are quietly run and optimised every day by institutions. "Holy grail" methods like these rarely leave a small elite circle or the seasoned financial houses. They become private assets, dissected and fully exploited before retail traders ever get a chance to touch them.
AI is changing the rules
In the last few years, the AI boom has started to change the game. A door of opportunity is opening for those who know how to harness the technology. But remember: every path you take leaves a trace.
The more public an edge, the faster it erodes
In my experience, once a method with an edge is widely exposed, whether through EA marketplaces like MQL5 or through a repetitive trading history, it can be copied, analysed and traded against by players with more data and resources. Brokers and large institutions all have tools to analyse order flow. A history that repeats a single pattern is the easiest thing to identify.
So how do we protect our profits? Never leave a single footprint.
Rotate strategies, stay invisible to the sharks
You need to build several different strategies over the year and rotate them wisely. Continuously adapting your trading model to each market phase makes your history diverse and hard to predict. Large funds and liquidity-hunting systems then find it much harder to analyse and target your orders. This is also the design philosophy of KTGGOLD: no dependence on one fixed formula.
Finance is a long-term game of survival. Trade smart, keep drawdown under control (the target is always below 10%), and most importantly: learn how to stay invisible to the sharks.
